Autumn Plant Sale
Bennetts Water Gardens. During the month of October, Bennetts Water Gardens will be holding their annual plant sale, pick up a bargain from the plant nursery. A range of plants which will be featured in the sale starting from as little as £1. Plants in the sale will include aquatic marginals and water lilies, perennials, shrubs, trees and much more, many of which can be seen growing in the Water Gardens next door.

Autumnwatch, bird ringing and migration – 8am, 9am and 10am
RSPB Radipole Lake nature reserve. Would you like a closer look at birds, come out on one of three walks to see our bird ringing team in action and find out more about the importance of ringing and autumn migration. FREE BINOCULAR HIRE AVAILABLE Booking essential.

The beauty of bearded tits – 10am – 12noon
RSPB Radipole Lake nature reserve. How many people do you know have seen a bearded tit? One of the most beautiful birds in Britain and a real rarity too. It’s fantastic that these birds have chosen to live in the middle of Weymouth at our reserves, join us in search of these beauties. FREE BINOCULAR HIRE AVAILABLE Booking essential.

Spooky Half Term Fun
Bennetts Water Gardens. Visit Bennetts Water Gardens this half-term holiday for some Spooky Fun. There will be a special Halloween trail for children to follow around the gardens; find the clues to complete the trail and get rewarded with a spooky prize (but remember only one per child). Children can also take part in the Halloween colouring competition

Meet Scooby Doo
Due to popular demand, Scooby-Doo will be returning to the park on Tuesday 26th October at various intervals throughout the day. He’ll be here to see his fans and hopefully track down some ghoulish ghosts and ghoulies!.



Half Term at Adventure Wonderland turns into a real Feast Of Halloween. For the whole of Half Term Week our Giant Hedge Maze is transformed into a spooky world full of scary(ish!) witches, skelly’s and ghostly apparitions. For the more Faint Hearted there are regular “Spook free times”  and there are plenty of other , less scary ways to enjoy the fun.  Visit The Happydrome theatre to enjoy our all New Halloween Show and join in traditional games throughout the day. The Whole Park is open for you to enjoy, including our ever popular Cuddle Corner, and Wild Thing indoor Adventure Playcentre for when our lovely English Weather turns nasty!
