Hardy lodge – named after Dorset’s most loved author ‘Thomas Hardy’. Similar in style to Wessex lodge this well appointed chalet provides a quiet retreat from normal everyday life.
Situated on a working dairy farm Hardy lodge provides fantastic views across the borders of Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. Centrally located for easy access to many attractions such as Longleat, Shaftesbury’s famous ‘Hovis’ Gold hill, Stourhead and Bath.
The lounge, dining area and kitchen provide spacious accommodation for six people.
A downstairs double bedroom with en-suite wet room, W/C and hand basin provides easier access for the less able person.
The first floor includes the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, shower over bath, W/C and hand basin and a twin room also with en-suite shower, W/C and hand basin.
The master bedroom has its own balcony which provides views across our beautiful Dorset countryside. On a clear day you can just about see King Alfred’s Tower in the distance which as you may know is situated near Stourhead.
